Neftcore product explainer visualization. Retopologized client STL for the plug, modeled a drill/mill from scratch, then animated deployment, milling (with simulated shattered fragments) and leak-seal sequence; added fluid simulation for incoming oil and tuned PBR metallic shaders with focused lighting to highlight function. Delivered 4K stills, and a final animation MP4 for the company website landing page.

Behind the Design

The process focused on conveying engineered function through cinematic visualization: retopologizing the client’s plug model, sculpting a compatible drill/mill, and choreographing an animated sequence of deployment, milling with simulated fragment behavior, and a leak-seal progression; fluid simulation and refined PBR shading were used alongside focused lighting to emphasize mechanism, motion, and material contrast.

The Result

The result is a clear, engaging visualization that highlights engineering function and material behavior. Controlled motion, realistic interactions, and intentional lighting guide viewers through the mechanism, creating an accessible experience that showcases careful digital craftsmanship.
